Stop ScreenScrapers Dead In Their Tracks!

This is an interesting article I found about stopping screenscrapers dead in their tracks.

In a nutshell a screen scraper is usually some software that has been designed to copy your content and automatically upload it to the scrapers website. The theory being you have done all the keyword research and created the content, so they just grab what you have got and upload it to their website hoping to outrank you! And sadly it’s entirely possible they might.

The article lists 8 good ways to protect yourself. My favorite is #8 (the use of footers), but I would also like to add a 9th. And thats using Google author rank to make it very clear to Google who owns your content.

I am skilled in many development languages including Java, C++, C#, and Objective-C to name a few. For the past 10 years I have been self employed, and now focus exclusively on teaching others how to develop apps for an Android platform and other related technologies (like Java for instance).
